Many people find it hard to pull off a red lip because of how obnoxious and vibrant it may be. However, with summer right around the corner, what better accessory to have on than a red lip! Not only does it help your outfit stand out but it also can really give you a boost of confidence, helping accentuate your features. I know for myself it wasn't until just a few months ago that I really became obsessed with everything red... everything! (like did you see my last outfit post). Now a lot of people, including myself, find it hard to pull off because of lip size as well as skin tones, that is why it is so important you find a red that is just right for you. I have a very dark complexion, especially in the summer which is why I like to stick to my nudes on the daily, however, when I go out I definitely am never afraid to try something new to stand out. For those of you who do have smaller lips, like myself, I would totally recommend getting a lipliner that is a shade darker than the lipstick you are going to apply just to put a little more emphasis on lip size as well as make them look juicier (ew gross word... but true). For those of you who still don't think you could pull it off I would tell you to stick with the nudes and pinks and maybe just apply a dab of red in the middle of your lower and upper lip, creating an ombrè look!
& always make sure you have no lipstick on your teeth! HA!
